UN Women Finland is a National Committee that supports the mission of UN Women, the United Nations agency for gender equality and women’s rights. National Committees are registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations established as autonomous and independent entities, not affiliated with any religion or religious entity, nor any political party or other similar organization.
UN Women Finland is a legal entity separate from UN Women, the United Nations and any other subsidiary body of the United Nations. UN Women Finland has entered into an agreement with UN Women to support its mission by raising funds from the private sector, promoting women’s rights, and securing worldwide visibility for women and girls.
